Laura Dumbleton, Stage Fright Coach for Singers and Performers
For Singers & Performers
Stage fright is one of the most common experiences in performance, and one of the most misunderstood. It’s not a lack of talent. It’s not something you can fix by practising more. And pushing past it rarely makes it go away for good.
I’m Laura, a specialist stage fright and voice confidence coach with 13 years of voice teaching experience, 8 years working specifically with performers on stage fright, and over 800 hours of breathwork facilitation training. I work with singers, speakers, performers and professionals online via Zoom, worldwide.
My approach is bespoke, I don’t use a fixed programme or a one-size-fits-all method. I start by listening, figuring out what’s actually going on for you, and working with whatever combination of tools serves you best. That might be voice technique, breathwork, nervous system regulation, mindset work, or something deeper. Usually it’s some combination of all of them.
Who is this for?
- Singers who freeze, go blank, or lose their voice under pressure
- Performers who know their material inside out but fall apart on stage
- Professionals who go blank in meetings, presentations or high-stakes conversations
- Anyone who has ever walked away from a performance thinking “that wasn’t me”
If you’re capable and competent but something gets in the way when it counts — this is for you.
How it works…
The first step is a free 30-minute discovery call. No pressure, no pitch: just an honest conversation about where you are and what’s getting in the way. From there, if we agree to work together, I’ll put together a bespoke proposal tailored to your specific situation.
All coaching takes place online via Zoom, so it doesn’t matter where in the world you are.
